I was thinking of what weapon to give my gouf aside from the ax. I decide to scrap build a Gatling gun for it. Its no my first time to make Gatling gun, I did it way back for my Dynames Custom. I used balloon sticks, pvc pipes, spure and some other scraps. Its still not finish and I will add some details on it. I also made a Heat Rod using twist ties. And as for the ax I'm also going to add more details on it...
Just a little update. I added some detail on the chest. Its inspired by Gear Zulu. I also scarp built an ax made from a sprue and a CD. Its not done and its still on early stage, I'll probably redesign it as I go on. Still needs a lot of clean up.
Its been weeks since my last update. First off, I decided to change the name of my Gouf. It will now be called "Warpath".
Added armor on the left arm and shoulder. I used an SD helmet and some armor part from my scraps. I added spikes on the chest but I'm not sure if I'll keep it.. The tubes on the chest is from a used gel pen and wire. Still a lot of work needed for this build.
Applied epoxy putty on the legs, added foot guard, shoulder armor side, back and front skirts using HIPS. The skirts are not yet final and I'll gonna redesign the shoulder armor, I'll make it a bit bigger. I'm inspired by HowardKhor's GOUF and I'll probably base this on his build. Sorry for the blurry pics...
Just got back from a holiday trip. Here are some big update on the SD gouf scrap build. I will now name this as The Ravager. I made an articulated hand for the first time, its made from balloon stick, sprue and paper clips. Special thanks to MatX, I got inspired by his scratch build hand tutorial. And also to MAC member Zorox, I was also inspired by his WIPbyusing a huge arm on his 1/144 Bushido.
I started this couple weeks ago. I have some SD scraps lying around and I thought of bashing them together. The parts are from an SD gouf grappler, SD freedom, SD destiny hand, SD nu arm and some keroro parts. I want to make this a muscular hulk looking SD.
Today I bought some HGUC, Geara Zulu and Zgok Experiment. This is actually my second Zgok Experiment. I love the design very much that I bought another one. No plans of modding this kits yet since I still have some wips to finish.
Finally its done!!! Sorry for the delay, I was kinda busy this past few days. I was supposed to do a simple base but I decided to postpone it and do it some other time since I don't have any idea what to do. Anyways here are the pictures.
This is for my friend kriz of KrizKreations. I promise him a couple months back to name a junkbot after him. This is my simple thank you for the good things he done for me, inspiring me with his comments and supporting my works especially for starting the Concept Mecha Group Build. I want to make this just like my my firstjunkbot. I hope I he liked it..=)
After months since my last completed work in progress, I manage to finish another one. I thought this build would be quicker to finish but its actually the longest, since i kinda lost interest working on any of my wips this past months. Anyways here are the pics. A giant junkbot head where the microbots lives.
For the first time I finally meet my bros from MAC forums face to face. It was actually my first time to talk to other modelers in person since I started this hobby. I arrived late because we made a wrong turn lol, but manage to locate Don’s(DC23) place after an hour. I first saw Don and kisapmata then Don introduced me to the guys and I received a warm welcome with applause. I was so nervous I don’t know what to do and was so speechless I can’t even say a word. Thank you so much guys!!!I also meet MatX, vanz, fil and TVA, they are really nice. Sadly I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures and I had to leave early. But I wont forget this event ever and what made it sweeter, Don gave me a Sinanju SD!!! Thank you very much!!!
Its been weeks since my last update, been busy with other things and really didn't work on model kits this past few days. I don't want to rush this project, so I just take my time and work on it when I'm in the mood. Here are some update. I replaced the legs using some parts from my sd scraps and added cables as usual.
Made some modifications on the head. Modded the eye, trimmed and drilled holes, added gears, wires and added a pony tail lol. Special thanks to my brother for making the pony tail for me, it was supposed to be simple but he made a better one for me. Its made from twisty ties. Here are the pics.
I'm now back on working on an SD kit. I'll be modifying thisTyouhi sangoukoden into a cyborg samurai themed SD. My plan is to drill holes, add wires and trim the armor and make it look like a zombie cyborg/terminator. Here are the pics...
After months of not finishing a build, I finally manage to finish a new one. This build started way back late January. I'm glad I was able to finish this before the group build deadline. As usual like all my junkbot, this is rusty and dirty. I wanted a more dynamic pose so I decided to make it look like its jumping. Added a smoke effect too using cotton. Its good to finish this and hope to finish one more if possible. here are the pics.
I was watching the IGN daily fix this morning and saw this teaser poster for the next batman movie. I'm a big batman fan and I loved Christoper Nolan's batman films especially the dark knight. So I am excited for the next movie the dark knight rises. I like the teaser poster very much, its like Inception, which is a movie i loved also.
Today marks the first anniversary of my little blog. It’s been fun sharing my humble works to everyone. I would like to thank all the readers for having time to drop by and comment, Thank you guys very much! Thank you to Mech Arts Community for the support, especially to DC23 for featuring my works on his blog. Thanks to Kriz of KrizKreations for he is one of the people who appreciated my works on my early days on MAC and started a Group Build inspired by my Junkbots. Thanks to MatX,Kamm for being a buddy sharing ideas, and all the my MAC bros! Thank you guys very much!... And of course thanks to my wife for supporting my hobby… Hope to get back on modeling fully again soon… Again thank you from the bottom of my heart!... =)
After a month of no update here is one for my junkbot. Im glad that the deadline for the MAC CONCEPT MECHA GROUP BUILD is extended, that gives me more time to finish all my junkbot or possibly make more.
Anyways here an update for my junkbot bike.
After a long long long time of being a Mavs fan, finally they won a championship!!! I'm a Mavs fan since my high school days around early 2000s. I stick with them through thick and thin, through disappointment of past seasons. I saw them lose on finals 06 and this time they won erasing the bad memory of 2006 finals... I'm very happy for the Mavericks espicially to Dirk who never left the team and gave it his all. Very deserving win and being the finals most valuable player...
Going back to model kits soon. thank you for visiting.=)
I made this yesterday afternoon. This is a very quick build and nothing really extraordinary. I just wanted to paint something, so I went for keroro since I have a couple keroro kits that is not painted. Its not perfect but I guess its better than an unpainted kit and I enjoyed painting it. I made the stars from pla-plates instead of using the stickers and I cut a thin cardboard for the eyes.
This is my second HG 1/144 O Gundam. I made this early January this year. I did not post this right away because I was not very satisfied with the finish. But last week when I got some tamiya enamel paint, I tried doing enamel wash on it. I usually use semco acrylics for all my washes. I liked the outcome and will probably use enamel from now on. Also after I made the base for my Punk Bot, I liked the design so much I decide to make another one with the same idea. here are the pics.
After a long long time I finally finish a Junk bot again. This build is inspired by my friend Kamm after jokingly challenge me to build a bot from, sharpener, toothbrush, padlock, etc. I also made as simple platform base from, a cd case, yakult bottles cut in half, plastic leftovers and cables. This is not on-scale with my other junkbots, its bigger and taller. I have 3 more junk bot wips I need to finish and hopefully finish them all soon. anyways here are the pics.
Hi everyone!..Its been awhile since my last update, been busy with other things this past few days. Here some progress on the gundam x. Made some modifications on the legs and arms. Added plastic plates on the arms and legs to make it look boxy. I had a hard time working on the legs, Im not really good in working on a 100 scale kit specially with this old HG but i think it looks ok so far.. Still pretty rough and more work needs to be done. Sorry about the blurry pics, I use my cellphone to take photos...
