The Junk Bots: Eclipse WIP

Another junkbot and its a weird one...I made it this afternoon in the office before going home. Saw the paper clips in the table and started playing around with it. I remembered Kriz's comment in his blog.He said"This little shindig can be as simple as making a paperclip man with a smiley face button." and I said to my self"It would work". here is the out come.



Primary materials


When i got home I immediately worked on it and added wire tubes, sprue, little plastic bits for the hand and feet and paste cap with lego for the head.








It bends!




After I put it together, it kinda reminds of a geth from mass effect.

I'll be basing this little guy with this.

Another one...I put this together a couple of hours ago. It is inspired by Mototerminator from the terminator salvation. It won't look exactly the same but I'll try my best to make it look decent... Made from mini 4WD parts, lego, sd parts, balloon stick and sprues. I'm going to add more stuff to it... Here are the pics.

The Junk Bots: Punkbot WIP

Another entry for the MAC GB Concept Mecha..My friend Kamm of MAC commented on my Enforcer WIP in the forums, he said jokingly( I think)"Your next challenge is to create a robot from the following:a toothbrush, a rubber band, 2 pencil sharpners,1 marble and 1 padlock". Then i said to my self, maybe. A couple of brainstorming and then i decide to give it a try. I came up with this.

MAC CONCEPT MECHA GROUP BUILD

I never thought in my wildest dream that my work would inspire a group build. My junk bots was supposed to be just a side project that I made before i continue on with my SD work in progress. To my surprise it started a group build. Special thanks to Kriz, DC23, MatX.Thanks guys! I am honored and humbled...Thanks also to all my MAC bros. I'm exited to see everyone's work... Another one of the scratch build bots. The concept is a police of the wastelands. Made from yakult bottle and i use the first idea that I was supposed to use for Mr. Tank using a single wheel as the leg...The gun arm is made from ballpen tubes...
